Northern Natatorium

Portage Public School's new natatorium is complete with a competition swimming pool that has 25-yard lanes going in one direction and 25-meter lanes running perpendicular. Eight lanes are used for swim meets as well as the dive wells, while 11 lanes are used for practice. The mezzanine located above spacious locker rooms offers elevated seating for up to 367 guests. The space integrates school branding throughout color, material, furniture, and fixture selections.

Stantec was the primary design consultant for this project, leading four other firms and dozens of contractors. C2AE was a collaborative member of the team, providing structural engineering, site civil engineering, and construction administration.
