Swartz Creek Community Schools
District Improvements
Swartz Creek, Michigan
Backed by bond funds, Swartz Creek Community Schools added science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) rooms and renovated offices throughout the high school, middle school, and elementary buildings. C2AE’s interior design staff designed and specified all interior finishes, as well as developed and procured furniture for the new and improved areas.
At the middle school, the team also transformed underused rooms into a multi-purpose common area and activity space. This area is equipped with flexible, multi-use furniture to host anything from lunch hour to class activities.
The interior design staff also selected finishes and furniture for the administrative building and exterior finishes around the high school and middle school.
Backed by ESSR funds, C2AE worked closely with the school district to help allocate the available funds to each of the schools. In collaboration with the superintendent, CFO and principals, new classroom furniture plans were developed and C2AE specified and procured this furniture.
This project was completed by T2 Designs, Inc., now a part of C2AE.
