Brighton Area Schools

District Improvements

Brighton, Michigan

For over a decade, C2AE’s interior design staff has been instrumental in enhancing Brighton Area Schools. Spanning two significant bonds, their work has brought new finishes, interior architecture, and furniture to the high school, junior high, middle school, four elementary schools, and a childcare/senior center building.

A standout feature of the first bond was an all-new auto lab at the high school and a gym addition at one elementary school. The second bond shifted focus to the science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) programs.

Middle and elementary school libraries were transformed into STEAM centers, complete with robotics classrooms, and a former woodshop at the junior high was also converted into a STEAM center. At the high school, a large STEAM center was added, providing classrooms and instructional spaces for engineering, robotics, and other programs. The second bond also added a state-of-the-art health occupations lab at the high school.

All facilities saw improvements to the offices, locker rooms, classrooms, band and choir spaces, cafeterias, and counseling offices.

This project was completed by T2 Designs, Inc., now a part of C2AE.
