New Cal Community Center

With the successful passage of a bond vote in 2020, Caledonia Community Schools (CCS) and the YMCA solidified their partnership on a community athletic complex.

Among a variety of amenities, this space offers a basketball court and indoor track, exercise equipment, group exercise programs, a competition pool, a leisure pool with a splash pad, locker and universal changing rooms, concessions, a resource center, a Kid Zone, a hospitality room, and offices. On-site, the Caledonia Athletic Complex also offers space for future additional playing fields. The YMCA operates and manages the facility. The complex is open to the community, with CCS students as the primary users.

Working alongside the internationally renowned design firm Stantec (architect of record and design architect), C2AE provided landscape architecture, structural engineering, and site civil and electrical engineering to finalize the plans.
