Village of Fair Haven

Philips Park Shoreline Restoration

Fair Haven, NY

A 2017 flooding event left many of the Village of Fair Haven’s public facilities along the waterfront of Little Sodus Bay and Lake Ontario in disrepair. C2AE worked with the community to remediate the damage, beginning with an assessment of the areas involved, followed by engineering services.

At Philips Park, sections of seawall and walkway were restored. This work used funding from New York’s REDI program not only to repair the damage but to integrate climate resiliency into the designs, thus protecting the infrastructure from future flooding.
