Three Additional C2AE Members Earn LEED® Professional Accreditation

LANSING, MI—November 20, 2007—C2AE™, a full service architecture, engineering, and planning firm announce that three of its staff members have passed the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) exam in the month of November.

Craig A. Jansen, P.E., has served as a Project Manager for C2AE for eight years. He manages building projects, including all aspects of engineering and architectural design, from concept to construction. Craig has managed multiple projects for the City of Lansing, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), and General Motors. He is currently managing multiple projects for the State of Michigan, federal government, industrial, and private sector clients. Craig holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Amy J. Mazure, ASLA has been with C2AE for two years; she is a member of the Landscape Architecture team. Amy provides master planning for site development, recreation facility design, healing garden design, planting design and selection, as well as river trail development, and urban streetscape and park improvements. Amy also provides graphic skills such as hand rendering, computer rendering and sketches, including 3-D modeling and 3-D animations. Amy is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA); she earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) from the School of Planning, Design, and Construction from Michigan State University.

Jonathan E. Mulder, P.E., a Mechanical Engineer in the Grand Rapids office is working on his eighth year at C2AE. Jon provides design for a broad range of project work, including educational, municipal, industrial, commercial and institutional projects. Some of his most recent work includes the Hastings Public Library (LEED-Silver Rating pending), healthcare projects, including the Allegan County Medical Care Facility, the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, and the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, all of which are currently underway. Jon has provided mechanical design services on multiple projects for clients such as Michigan State University, the State of Michigan, and General Motors. Jon graduated with honors from Calvin College earning his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System. The LEED AP credential represents the individual's knowledge of the LEED Rating System and its application in practice.
