Construction Administrator (Infrastructure)

As a construction administrator at C2AE you will direct and supervise construction administration operations and personnel specifically related to Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Local Agency Program (LAP) projects.   Your time will be spent administering construction project budgets, scheduling staff and tracking hours, determining the need for contracts with sub-consultants, interfacing with owners, project managers, designers, and city administrators, periodic on-site observation to monitor compliance, and interpreting plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients as a representative of the owner/developer.  

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 3 - 5 years experience in office technician/project administration, onsite inspection, or materials testing.
  • FieldBook, FieldManager, or comparable software experience
  • Preferred certifications: MDOT Field Manager Training, MDOT Prevailing Wage Training, MDOT Office Technician Certification
