C2AE to Participate in Ground Breaking Event for Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility

GRAND RAPIDS, MI—March 28, 2008—C2AE representatives will participate in a ground breaking event on Monday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m, to mark the start of construction for Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility (MCF) in Coldwater, MI.

C2AE, a full-service architecture, engineering, and planning firm was selected by Maple Lawn MCF to design an 8,000 s.f. patient room expansion to include nine private rooms and physical therapy space. C2AE is performing all architectural design, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering services, as well as interior design services. CM Contracting, Inc. is the Construction Manager for the project. Estimated completion for the project is set for December 2008.

Maple Lawn is a 114-bed nursing facility that has served the needs of Branch County since 1954. There are 36 county medical care facilities operating under the Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council (MCMCFC). For more information visit: http://www.mcmcfc.org.

In addition to Maple Lawn, C2AE is currently performing a variety of design services for four other medical care facilities, including Thornapple Manor MCF (Hastings, MI), Allegan County MCF (Allegan, MI), Calhoun County MCF (Battle Creek, MI), and Hillsdale County MCF (Hillsdale, MI); all of which are scheduled for completion in 2008.

C2AE (previously Capital Consultants/Design Works A׀E) serves the project needs of a broad spectrum of market sectors, including commercial and retail, education, health care, hospitality, industrial, libraries, military, municipal services, recreational facilities, site planning, transportation, wastewater/water and worship.
