C2AE Landscape Architecture and Planning Staff Become Registered

LANSING, MI—November 6, 2008—C2AE is pleased to announce that two members of its Landscape Architecture & Planning team have successfully passed the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (L.A.R.E.) to become Registered Landscape Architects. 

Amy J. Mazure, R.L.A. has been with C2AE for approximately three years.  Her expertise lies in site master planning, including recreation facility design, healing garden design, planting design and selection, river trail development, and urban streetscape and park improvements.  She works with other C2AE teams by providing hand and computer renderings, as well as sketches.  Her most notable project work includes the Michigan Avenue Streetscape project (Lansing, MI), a variety of projects for the City of Lansing Parks & Recreation Department, and multiple healing garden designs for medical care facilities, such as Thornapple Manor (Hastings, MI), Calhoun County MCF (Battle Creek, MI), and Hillsdale County MCF (Hillsdale, MI).  Amy is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). 

Joe D. Wright, R.L.A., has over 13 years of experience as a Landscape Architect.  During his tenure with C2AE, Joe has been directly involved in the planning and design of more than 75 parks & recreation projects throughout Michigan.  He has been an instrumental team member responsible for the development of significant streetscape enhancements for various communities, most notably for the cities of Lansing, Jackson, Durand, and Hillsdale.  Joe’s specialties include site master planning, river trail development, MDEQ, MDNR and MDOT grant and permit application administration and coordination, and urban streetscape and park improvements. His familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) enables him to create accessible parks, pedestrian walks, and landscapes in various environments.  Joe is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and the Michigan Recreation and Park Association (MRPA).
