LANSING, MI—December 10, 2007—C2AE™, a full service engineering, architecture, and planning firm is pleased to announce the expansion of its Health Design team in the Grand Rapids office by bringing aboard James Y. Kuo, AIA as Health Care Project Architect.
Mr. Kuo brings over 20 years of professional Architecture/Design experience to the C2AE Health Design team. His project expertise is multi-faceted, ranging from design, programming, and design development to construction documents, construction administration, and post-construction services.
“James brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to our growing Health Care team. This team is very well rounded and each team members experience complements the others”, stated Ray Tadgerson, P.E., C2AE Chairman and CEO. “James will touch every health care project that goes through our office, and with the number of awarded projects to C2AE Health Design on the rise, he will help keep the projects on track”, said C2AE’s Director of Health Care Services, David Daining.
James played a key role in many Michigan healthcare projects: West Michigan Heart Center (Grand Rapids), Muskegon Cancer Center (Muskegon), Borgess Medical Center (Kalamazoo), Spectrum Health Heart Center (Grand Rapids), West Shore Medical Center (Manistee), and St. Mary’s Medical Center (Saginaw), as well as projects in other states and Ontario.
Mr. Kuo also has a great deal of experience in other market sectors, including Commercial, Education, Institutional, Industrial, and Hotels/Resorts. James received his Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan; he is a registered architect in Michigan, and registered with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA). He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
