GRAND RAPIDS, MI—August 19, 2008—C2AE hires Mark G. Ruedy, AIA as Health Care Project Architect to complement its growing Health Care Services team.
Mr. Ruedy brings with him over 30 years of experience, 20 years as a Project Architect. He has experience in many market sectors including Commercial and Education. “Mark’s technical expertise and attention to detail with code analysis, construction documents and experience with contractors supplements our team and allows us to better manage our projects, states C2AE’s Director of Health Care Services, David Daining, AIA, LEED® AP. “In the end, this creates a much better experience for our clients,” continued Daining.
Prior to C2AE, Mark worked in the Health Care Division for URS Corporation. While at URS, his primary work focused on hospitals, including Borgess Medical Center (Kalamazoo, MI), Northern Michigan Hospital (Petoskey, MI), and Methodist Hospital (Gary, IN), as well as multiple projects with Spectrum Health (Grand Rapids, MI). Mark was most recently employed with DTS+Winkelmann, where his project work was focused on commercial and retail projects in the Grand Rapids area, such as the Cygnus Restaurant in the Amway Grand Plaza, and the Huntington Club at the Van Andel Arena.
Mark is a licensed architect in the States of Michigan and Minnesota, and received his B.A. in Architecture from Iowa State University. He is a long-time member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) and recently became a member of the Wyoming Historic Commission (Wyoming, MI).
