New Fire Station

The City of St. Ignace’s original fire station had the maximum capacity of four apparatuses. All other equipment had to be stored at a different site in the city. C2AE designed a new 10,000 SF replacement fire station to consolidate all of the department’s resources into a single place.

Now complete, St. Ignace’s new fire station will offer a dedicated training room to prepare new fire fighters for the field and keep seasoned veterans in peak condition. The facility also features three double-depth drive-through bays and a storage mezzanine. The new station’s site is configured to allow access for apparatuses around the building to an on-site fire hydrant when needed for tender filling.
